Life in ruins
In March 2021 a devastating earthquake hit Elassona province in central Greece. Many houses were destroyed, while others suffered severly damages. Most of the pictures were taken three months after the earthquake in Damasi village, which was to lift the heaviest burden of the seismic vibration. After the sock, the locals are trying to rebuild with passion what the disaster deprived them of.

The facade of the church of Agios Nikolaos in the village of Koutsochero collapsed, however the houses of the village, for the most part, were not seriously damaged, making the villagers speaking of a miracle.
